About the role#
This co-op role gives you the chance to work on client projects while building your skills in software engineering and digital product development. You will work under the guidance of senior developers to create and improve software applications. The position is based in University Park, Pennsylvania, and runs from Summer 2027 through Spring 2028.
What you'll do#
- Build and enhance software applications and digital solutions.
- Write code using technologies such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Python.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate applications with various systems.
- Participate in testing, debugging, and code reviews to maintain quality.
- Create technical documentation and development guidelines.
- Work within an agile team on planning and development tasks.
- Expand your knowledge of cloud technologies, APIs, and software engineering practices.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a university degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- A track record of academic success.
- Experience with at least one programming language or web technology gained through coursework, projects, or previous internships.
- A basic understanding of software development concepts like version control, testing, or APIs.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team.
- A readiness to adapt and learn new technologies.
Location & details#
- Location: University Park, Pennsylvania.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: You must be able to work up to 20 hours per week during school terms and up to 40 hours per week during academic breaks.
- This is a paid position.
