About the role#
As a Quality Engineering Intern at iA, you will support our quality engineering team in managing and improving internal and supplier quality. You will work with cross-functional teams and manufacturing partners to drive quality improvements that impact our pharmacy automation systems. This is a 10-week paid summer internship program.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data to evaluate and monitor internal and supplier quality performance.
- Assist with internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Investigate quality issues, participate in root cause analysis, and help develop corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Document and track quality metrics.
- Contribute to project teams focused on enhancing quality processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or a related engineering field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
- Attention to detail and an interest in manufacturing processes and quality engineering.
- Familiarity with quality standards like ISO 9001 or FDA regulations is a plus.
- Authorization to work in the United States. We do not provide sponsorship for work visas.

- Compensation: $18.00 to $26.00 per hour.
