About the role#
As a Data Analyst Intern at iA, you will turn real-world data into insights that support pharmacy automation. You will work with experienced professionals to explore data, improve reporting, and build solutions that help pharmacies operate efficiently. This internship focuses on data modeling, analytics, and modern data technologies. You will learn how raw information becomes meaningful insight to help teams make decisions.
What you'll do#
- Work with team members to learn data modeling, analytics, and data-driven problem solving.
- Convert legacy queries and reports into modern data technology solutions.
- Analyze data using statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling.
- Gain exposure to analytics tools, data structures, and reporting best practices.
- Create and maintain documentation for queries, reports, and data models.
- Participate in team meetings and document key takeaways to support cross-functional collaboration.
- Contribute to projects that support the technology behind automated pharmacy fulfillment.
What you'll need#
- Current studies or experience in Data Analysis, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- General knowledge of quantitative analytic techniques.
- Understanding of engineering disciplines.
- Experience in software programming.
- Knowledge of Claude or other AI assistance tools is preferred.
- Knowledge of SQL Server, Databricks, Microsoft tools, and Smartsheet is preferred.
- Healthcare or pharmacy experience is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role based in Binghamton, New York.
- The internship runs for 10 weeks, from June 1, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
- This position is paid, with an hourly rate range of $18.00 to $26.00.
