About the role#
As an Intern in Compliance and Controls, you will support regulatory compliance activities and risk management initiatives at iA Dealer Services. You will help ensure the effective application of regulatory frameworks while working within a team that values professional development and collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of regulatory compliance activities.
- Participate in internal control testing and process documentation.
- Assist in preparing regulatory reports and presentations for management.
- Research regulatory changes and assess their impacts.
- Collaborate with internal departments, subsidiaries, and entities.
- Provide support to the First Line of Defense.
- Draft or update policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Manage and reorganize information within SharePoint.
- Support data analysis and create reports using Power BI, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Manage, analyze, and summarize emails and information related to compliance activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in law, finance, business administration, accounting, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to tasks.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to structure and synthesize information to support decision-making.
- Professional curiosity and a keen interest in compliance, regulation, and the insurance industry.
- Knowledge of Power BI or a strong interest in developing skills with this tool.
- Intermediate level of English proficiency to review documentation and communicate with internal partners.
