About the role#
iA Financial Group is looking for a student to join our IT audit team for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship where you will contribute to the security and confidence of our clients by assessing risks and technology governance. You will work in a hybrid environment that balances professional development with practical, real-world experience.
What you'll do#
- Conduct audit missions either independently or as part of a team.
- Collaborate with mission teams and management to set and meet project schedules.
- Perform analysis and testing related to IT governance and internal controls.
- Prepare audit results and draft reports for the audit committee.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or a degree in Business Administration or Computer Science.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with IT risk management frameworks like COSO, COBIT, NIST, or ISO.
- Understanding of ITGC and ITAC risks and controls.
- Ability to analyze data and explain complex information clearly.
- Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and professional rigor.
- Intermediate proficiency in English for daily communication with partners and stakeholders.
- Pursuit of or possession of a recognized IT audit certification like CISA or CRISC.
- A CISSP certification or a degree in IT governance, cybersecurity, or risk management is an asset.
