About the role#
The I Hotel and Illinois Conference Center is hiring a Marketing Intern to help promote our hospitality, dining, and event services. You will work with our marketing and sales teams to build brand awareness and support our outreach efforts. This is a part-time, paid position that offers flexible scheduling to accommodate your academic commitments.
What you'll do#
- Research target markets, consumer behavior, industry trends, and competitor activity.
- Present your research findings and recommendations to the team.
- Create content for social media, email campaigns, digital ads, and promotional materials.
- Manage social media scheduling, monitor engagement, and analyze performance metrics.
- Support marketing campaigns for hotel stays, weddings, conferences, and special events.
- Collaborate with the sales team on outreach initiatives and campaign planning.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Represent the company at community events when needed.
- Track campaign results to identify ways to improve engagement and reach.
What you'll need#
