About the role#
We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineering Intern to join our team in New York. You will work on-site to help develop and validate our ergonomic products. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and product management teams during design sessions.
- Partner with design engineers to build and validate new products.
- Create and run test plans for performance, function, interoperability, and reliability.
- Build test fixtures and develop automation tools.
- Conduct teardown analysis and research on competitive products.
- Help troubleshoot issues alongside our engineers and development partners.
- Assist with product documentation, including production drawings and control documents.
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and improvement planning.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity with wireless communication technologies like WiFi and Bluetooth.
- Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVMs, function generators, and power meters.
- Understanding of product development lifecycles and methodologies.
- Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
