About the role#
As a Quality Assurance Engineering Intern, you will join our team at our headquarters in Lincoln, Nebraska. You will act as the user before the user, ensuring our software meets our standards before it reaches our customers. You will work directly with engineers, designers, and product managers to maintain the quality of our web and mobile features.
What you'll do#
- Perform manual and automated testing across our platforms.
- Design test plans and document the evolution of our features.
- Identify and assess edge-cases to ensure quality end-to-end.
- Use AI-powered and conventional tools to monitor, diagnose, and evaluate software performance.
- Determine if features are ready for deployment to our global user base.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Experience working on a team over multiple weeks.
- Coding experience with languages such as Python or Javascript.
- A natural curiosity and an empathetic approach to the user experience.
- Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, Appium, TestRail, or Jira is preferred.
Location & details#
- This internship is based on-site in Lincoln, Nebraska for the Summer 2027 term.
- This is a full-time, paid position with an hourly range of $27 to $29 USD, depending on your academic standing.
- We provide housing and travel support for this role.
- We do not offer visa sponsorship for this position.
