About the role#
This is a 10 to 12-week summer internship focused on additive manufacturing. You will work directly with engineers and technicians to implement equipment and improve manufacturing processes. This role requires on-site work in Wilmington, Massachusetts, during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Support additive manufacturing initiatives through process development.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks.
- Assist with production, post-processing, shipping, and quality tasks.
- Work on process improvement projects.
- Manage multiple tasks and projects independently.
- Present project outcomes to the local management team at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university in a degree program such as Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong interest in or familiarity with additive manufacturing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
