About the role#
The HUB International Internship Program offers a path to build a career in the insurance brokerage industry. This summer program provides exposure to various business practices, including commercial lines, personal lines, employee benefits, and retirement and private wealth management. You will work alongside industry experts to gain practical experience and professional development.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with sales and service teams to understand unique regional client needs.
- Manage policies, endorsements, renewals, and data.
- Assist with the claims processing workflow.
- Support the analysis of insurance markets and regional trends.
- Participate in workshops and training sessions to build technical skills.
- Prepare reports and presentations to share project updates and recommendations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in college with a graduation date in Spring 2027, Fall 2027, or Spring 2028.
- A positive attitude and an interest in learning about the insurance industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work both as a collaborative team player and as an independent, self-motivated individual.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Calgary, AB, Winnipeg, MB, or Edmonton, AB.
