About the role#
The Recruiting & HR Support Intern will assist our team with daily administrative tasks, candidate coordination, and onboarding. This is a paid, six-month internship that provides hands-on experience with the full employee lifecycle and talent acquisition processes. You will report directly to the HR Manager, who will set priorities and review project milestones.
What you'll do#
- Review applications for basic qualifications and flag candidates.
- Send interview reminders to candidates.
- Update candidate statuses and keep recruiting records organized.
- Prepare welcome letters using approved templates.
- Track onboarding paperwork and follow up on outstanding items.
- Assist with data entry and document organization in Rippling and SharePoint.
- Compile weekly updates on open positions, interviews, and new hires.
- Support the HR Manager with communication between new hires and clients.
What you'll need#
- Previous administrative, customer service, recruiting, or office support experience.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
- Eagerness to learn new systems and HR technologies.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
- A positive attitude and willingness to grow within the HR field.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or Psychology.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, or coordinating onboarding is a plus.
