About the role#
As a Cloud Engineering Intern at HP IQ, you will join the team responsible for building the cloud foundation that supports our hardware products. You will work on integrated cloud-based solutions that improve performance and user experience across our devices. You will collaborate with engineering, machine learning, and infrastructure teams to ensure our systems function as a cohesive unit, powering next-generation AI-driven devices.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with hardware, AI, and platform engineering teams to develop, test, and operate integrated cloud services.
- Contribute to projects involving AI assistants and conference room devices.
- Solve complex problems and deliver software both independently and as part of a team.
- Communicate across departments to ensure project alignment and delivery.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong interest or experience in hardware-software integration, cloud services, and AI technologies.
- Ability to work independently in a small team environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with automation and infrastructure.
- Exposure to building services at scale.
- Familiarity with Spring Boot.
