Reinsurance Broker Intern (MN)-1

About the role#

As a Reinsurance Broker Intern on the North American Reinsurance Team, you will gain exposure to reinsurance broking, risk mitigation, contract negotiation, and portfolio management. You will support the team in delivering strategic advice and analytics to current and prospective clients while working both independently and collaboratively.

What you'll do#

• Assist with reinsurance placements and client initiatives.
• Track reinsurance placements throughout the process.
• Create client marketing materials.
• Perform risk analysis and financial modeling.
• Conduct market research and analysis.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Mathematics, Accounting, or Economics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Location: Edina, Minnesota (On-site).
• Term: Summer 2026 (10-week program from June 1, 2026, to August 7, 2026).
• Status: Paid, full-time internship.
