About the role#
As a Full Stack Engineering Co-op, you will join a pod of four engineers and a QA engineer. You will work with product managers and engineering leadership to build software that helps homeowners access home equity. Your time will be split between hands-on development, technical discussions, and learning from senior teammates. You will take ownership of features that impact our users.
What you'll do#
- Design, build, and test software, focusing on clean and maintainable architecture.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, QA, and stakeholders to shape requirements and deliver features using Agile practices.
- Integrate with systems including Digifi.io, Salesforce, AVM providers, credit bureaus, Segment, and Camunda.
- Maintain code quality through peer reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Provide feedback to teammates and Technical Product Organization leaders on projects and processes.
What you'll need#
- Previous internship or co-op experience in a software engineering role.
- Experience using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of relational database design and querying.
- Experience with cloud services, preferably AWS.
- Proficiency with Git or other revision control systems.
- Familiarity with API design, development, and documentation.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
