About the role#
The Central Research Technology team builds solutions for research and live trading of quantitative strategies. We are looking for an intern to join us in January to help design and build the next generation of our research and quant trading systems.
What you'll do#
- Build strategic solutions for research and live trading of quantitative strategies.
- Design and develop the next generation of research and quant trading systems.
What you'll need#
- You are an undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- You have significant experience in Python or C++.
- You have an interest in open source research tools for data science and machine learning.
- You possess basic knowledge of Linux, git, conda, and CI processes.
- You have reasonable quantitative and statistical skills.
- You are a clear, concise, and proactive communicator.
- You are a team player with strong pride of ownership and a commitment to high ethical standards.
- Experience with finance, cloud, databases, and distributed or streaming compute is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site role based in New York, New York.
- The term is Winter 2027.
