About the role#
Holmes Murphy is hiring a Talent & Culture (HR) Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a 10-week, paid, part-time internship based on-site at our West Des Moines, Iowa office. The program offers a look into the insurance industry and provides mentorship from our team members.
What you'll do#
- Provide general support to the Human Resources team.
- Assist with talent acquisition initiatives, including our summer intern program.
- Help with various team projects.
- Learn about system reporting, employee engagement, and new employee onboarding.
- Gain exposure to our peer recognition program and compensation and benefits processes.
- Take on additional duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or pursuit of enrollment at a 4-year institution.
- An enthusiastic, motivated, and curious mindset.
- Prior work experience in a customer service or administrative role is a plus.
- While we welcome students from many backgrounds, relevant majors include Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, and Human Resources.
