About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship based at our office in West Des Moines, Iowa. You will work with the Creative Risk Solutions team, a subsidiary of Holmes Murphy. This program provides an introduction to the insurance industry through hands-on work and educational workshops. You will have the chance to rotate through different lines of business, attend community activities, and present your findings to business leaders.
What you'll do#
- Attach mail documents to claims.
- Set up new claims within our systems.
- Update existing claim information.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or pursuit of enrollment at a 4-year institution.
- Academic background in fields such as Business Administration, Finance, or Marketing.
- Previous work experience is a plus, specifically in administrative or customer service roles.
