About the role#
Holmes Murphy is hiring an Information Technology Intern for a 10-week program during the summer of 2027. This is a paid, part-time position based on-site in our West Des Moines office. You will gain exposure to various career paths within our IT department and work alongside industry experts.
What you'll do#
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Identify trends and patterns to help reach business goals.
- Provide technology support for HMA systems.
- Assist the IT team with daily operations and special projects.
- Gain broad exposure to different areas of our Information Technology department.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or upcoming enrollment at a 4-year institution.
- Preferred majors include Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related fields.
- Previous work experience is a plus, specifically in customer service or IT support roles.
