About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship for Summer 2027 within our Property Casualty Risk and Safety team. You will gain hands-on experience in risk management and workplace safety while working directly with our consultants. This position is based on-site, allowing you to build professional connections and learn from industry experts.
What you'll do#
- Observe and assist team members as they help clients improve their risk and safety programs.
- Conduct research and analyze client processes, including loss trend analysis for workers compensation, auto, property, and liability coverages.
- Help create client deliverables like safety policies, training materials, and program recommendations.
- Participate in hazard assessments, training seminars, and strategy development sessions.
- Learn about regulatory requirements, including DOT and OSHA standards.
- Join prospective client meetings to better understand their specific needs.
- Collaborate with carrier loss control and underwriting personnel to understand insurance industry trends.
- Handle special projects and other tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or pursuit of a degree at a 4-year institution.
- Relevant majors include Business Administration and others.
- Previous work experience in customer service, safety, or administrative roles is a plus.
