About the role#
This position is exclusively for current and recently completed HNTB interns who finished their internship in the Los Angeles office. As a New Grad Engineer I, you will contribute to the delivery of complex infrastructure projects by applying engineering techniques, procedures, and design criteria. You will work in partnership with project teams to support the execution, evaluation, and development of conceptual and detailed designs.
What you'll do#
- Support the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
- Assist in the production and modification of design calculations.
- Prepare project quantity and cost estimates.
- Support engineering teams with research, data collection, field investigations, and the organization of design files.
- Complete assigned tasks within designated schedules and hours.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Status as a current or recently completed HNTB intern who worked in the Los Angeles office.
- Technical knowledge in design and calculations.
- Experience with engineering tools and software.
- Ability to work effectively with project teams.
Location & details#
- Location: Los Angeles, California (with work performed at Figueroa Street, the Crenshaw Project, or LA International Airport).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: The approximate pay range for this role is $76,367.81 to $114,551.72 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and specific work location.
