About the role#
This position is exclusively for current and recently completed HNTB interns who finished their internship in the Los Angeles office. You will work on infrastructure projects by assisting with design calculations, technical reports, and engineering plans. This role involves applying engineering techniques and design criteria to projects of varying complexity while working in partnership with project teams.
What you'll do#
- Support the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
- Assist in the production of design calculations and project quantity and cost estimates.
- Help engineering teams with research, data collection, field investigations, and the organization of design files.
- Complete assigned tasks within established schedules and hours.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Current or recent status as an HNTB intern within the Los Angeles office.
- Technical knowledge in design and calculations.
- Ability to work effectively with project teams.
- Experience with relevant engineering tools, software, and programs.
