About the role#
This position is exclusively for current and recent HNTB interns who completed their internship in the Los Angeles office. You will join the team as a New Grad Engineer I to support infrastructure projects through design, calculation, and reporting tasks. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the production and modification of design calculations, plans, and technical reports.
- Prepare project quantity and cost estimates.
- Support engineering teams with data collection, research, and field investigations.
- Organize and maintain project design files.
- Complete assigned tasks within established schedules and budgets.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Previous internship experience at the HNTB Los Angeles office.
- Technical knowledge of engineering design and calculations.
- Experience using relevant engineering software and tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with project teams.

- Location: Los Angeles, California (includes Figueroa Street, Crenshaw Project, and LA International Airport sites).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $76,367.81 to $114,551.72 per year.
