About the role#
HNTB is hiring a Transit Planning Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based in our Houston office. You will work under close supervision to support our project teams with various planning and infrastructure tasks. Please note that relocation and housing assistance are not provided for this position, and visa sponsorship is not available.
What you'll do#
- Assist project team members with day-to-day support tasks.
- Conduct basic research and gather data for ongoing projects.
- Maintain project records, files, and collections.
- Help develop graphics, reports, and presentation materials.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program.
- Pursuit of a degree in Urban Design, Civil Engineering, Planning, or a related field.
- A genuine interest in infrastructure and transportation.
