About the role#
This is a returning internship position for the Summer 2027 term within the Great Lakes Division. This role is open exclusively to current or former HNTB interns. You will work on-site under close supervision to support various departments in areas such as planning, science, and technology. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Assist project team members with day-to-day support tasks.
- Conduct basic research and gather data for ongoing projects.
- Maintain project records, files, and collections.
- Help develop graphics, reports, and presentation materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program related to Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, Business Administration, Logistics, or Cybersecurity.
- A strong interest in transportation and infrastructure.
- Ability to organize and maintain project files.
- Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred.
