About the role#
This position is exclusively for current or previous HNTB interns. As a Returning New Grad Engineer I, you will contribute to the delivery of infrastructure projects by applying engineering techniques and design criteria. You will work in partnership with project teams to execute designs, perform calculations, and support the development of technical reports and specifications.
What you'll do#
- Complete assigned tasks within project schedules and budgets.
- Assist in the production and modification of design calculations, plans, and technical reports.
- Prepare project quantity and cost estimates.
- Perform research, data collection, and field investigations.
- Organize and maintain design files while supporting engineering teams with various project duties.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Industrial, Aerospace, Chemical, or Computer Engineering.
- Demonstrated understanding of engineering principles relevant to your discipline.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
