About the role#
This position is exclusively for current or previous HNTB interns returning for the Summer 2026 term. This role provides an opportunity to support project teams under close supervision while gaining experience in planning and project controls.
What you'll do#
- Assist project team members with various support tasks.
- Conduct basic research and data collection.
- Maintain records, collections, and files related to specific projects.
- Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials, and reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Must be a current or previous HNTB intern.
- Enrollment in a related undergraduate or graduate program, such as Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, Urban Planning, Communications, Logistics, Architecture, or Data Science.
- Strong collaborative skills.
- Ability to conduct basic research.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
- Available locations include Boston, MA; Chelmsford, MA; South Portland, ME; Princeton, NJ; Newark, NJ; Cherry Hill, NJ; Parsippany, NJ; New York, NY; Bedford, NH; South Norwalk, CT; and Rocky Hill, CT.
