About the role#
This position is for individuals who have completed a previous internship or co-op with HNTB. You will work under close supervision to support departments in areas such as planning, technology, and science. This is a full-time role for the summer of 2026.
What you'll do#
- Assist project team members with various support tasks.
- Conduct basic research and data collection.
- Maintain records, collections, and files for specific projects.
- Develop graphics, presentation materials, and reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program related to Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, Urban Planning, Communications, Logistics, Architecture, or Data Science.
- Must be a current or previous HNTB intern.
- Ability to conduct basic research.
- Collaborative skills.

- This position is on-site.
- Locations include Boston, MA; Chelmsford, MA; South Portland, ME; Princeton, NJ; Newark, NJ; Cherry Hill, NJ; Parsippany, NJ; New York, NY; South Norwalk, CT; Rocky Hill, CT; and Bedford, NH.
- This is a paid position. Visa sponsorship is not available.
