About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to support project delivery and financial operations at HNTB. Working under direct supervision, you will assist with routine administrative tasks and project coordination. You will work closely with Project Analysts to ensure project execution stays on track. This role is designed for students seeking experience in a professional civil engineering environment.
What you'll do#
- Perform administrative support tasks, including editing documents, managing appointments, and handling inquiries.
- Assist Project Analysts with project execution, such as contracting and work planning.
- Participate in team meetings and interface with various departments.
- Analyze data, track project results, and prepare reports.
- Coordinate program developments and provide research for special projects.
- Manage routine office tasks like answering phones and transmitting information.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Business Administration, Finance, or Operations Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with collaboration tools like Teams and SharePoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret basic project data and handle multiple tasks under deadlines.
- A proactive attitude with a focus on reliability and accountability.
