About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in our Boston office. You will work under close supervision to support construction services projects. Please note that relocation and housing assistance are not provided for this position.
What you'll do#
- Support construction office tasks, including processing tracking logs and taking meeting minutes.
- Attend meetings with internal and external teams to observe project operations.
- Observe on-site material testing and assist with basic shop drawing reviews to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Conduct research and data collection while reading construction drawings to provide feedback.
- Assist with program and project controls, such as scheduling, cost estimating, and risk management.
- Handle clerical duties, including typing reports, editing handbooks, and organizing meeting materials.
- Create and format Microsoft Office files, PowerPoint presentations, maps, graphics, and newsletters.
- Track, monitor, and report on project progress and delivery.
- Assist with special projects as directed.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary construction services program.
- Completion of at least 2 years of a post-secondary construction services program is preferred.
