About the role#
This Summer 2027 internship is open exclusively to current or former HNTB interns. The position involves performing basic engineering tasks that align with standard post-secondary engineering curricula. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role. Please note that relocation and housing assistance are not provided.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineering teams with daily tasks and project duties.
- Support the research, development, and design phases of various projects.
- Help prepare engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Perform basic engineering calculations and organize information for project documentation.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the team.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Aerospace).
- A basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to accept and apply direction from supervisors and peers.
- An understanding of introductory shop drawing and submittal procedures.
