About the role#
This is a summer 2027 internship position within the Central Division. This role is exclusively for current or former HNTB interns. The position is full-time, paid, and requires on-site attendance. Please note that relocation and housing assistance are not provided.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineering teams with daily tasks and project duties.
- Support engineers in the research, development, and design phases of projects.
- Prepare engineering drawings and related documentation as assigned.
- Perform basic engineering calculations and organize information for project documents.
- Accept and apply direction from supervisors and peers.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering).
- A basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with introductory shop drawing and submittal procedures.
- Completion of at least two years of an engineering program is preferred.
