About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in one of our Pennsylvania locations. Interns assist our engineering teams with various project tasks, including research, development, and design. You will help prepare engineering drawings and documents while gaining hands-on experience in your assigned department.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering teams with daily tasks and project duties.
- Assist with the research, development, and design of active projects.
- Prepare engineering drawings and related documentation.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
- Basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
- Ability to perform basic engineering calculations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to organize information for use in drawings and documents.
- Willingness to accept and apply direction from peers and supervisors.
- Introductory understanding of shop drawing and submittal procedures.
We prefer candidates who have completed at least two years of a civil engineering program. Knowledge of MicroStation or AutoCAD and an interest in transportation and infrastructure are also helpful.
