About the role#
Our Salt Lake City office is hiring Intern Engineers for the Summer 2027 term. We are looking for students interested in construction management, roadway, and traffic engineering. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. Please note that relocation and housing assistance are not provided.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering teams with daily tasks and project duties.
- Assist with the research, development, and design of engineering projects.
- Help prepare engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Perform basic engineering tasks that reflect your academic coursework.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
- A basic grasp of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to perform basic engineering calculations and organize information for drawings.
- A willingness to accept and apply direction from supervisors and peers.
- An understanding of introductory shop drawing and submittal procedures.
We prefer candidates who have completed at least two years of a civil engineering program. Experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD and a strong interest in transportation and infrastructure are also preferred.
