About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in our Indianapolis office. You will work on-site with our teams in areas including Roadway, Bridge, and Water/Water Construction. Please note that we do not provide relocation or housing assistance for this position, and we are unable to offer visa sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering teams with daily tasks and project duties.
- Help with the research, development, and design of infrastructure projects.
- Prepare engineering drawings and related documents.
- Handle other assigned tasks as needed.
- Organize information for use in technical drawings and reports.
- Apply direction from supervisors and peers to learn shop drawing and submittal procedures.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program (Civil, Computer, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to perform basic engineering calculations.
- A basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
- We prefer candidates who have completed at least two years of their engineering program.
