About the role#
This summer internship offers an opportunity to work within our bridge inspection team in New York. You will assist our engineers with various project tasks, research, and design development. This role focuses on field work and provides exposure to infrastructure projects. Please note that relocation and housing are not provided.
What you'll do#
- Support engineer teams with daily tasks and project duties.
- Assist with the research, development, and design of engineering projects.
- Prepare engineering drawings and related documentation.
- Perform other assigned engineering tasks.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
- Basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
- Ability to perform basic engineering calculations and organize information for drawings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- We prefer candidates who have completed at least 2 years of a civil engineering program.
- Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation is a plus.
- A strong interest in transportation, infrastructure, and field-based work is desired.

- Location: New York, New York.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Status: Full time, on-site.
- Compensation: This is a paid position with an approximate pay range of $26.34 to $39.50 per hour.
