About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to assist with construction services tasks under close supervision. You will work on department and project deliverables that reflect standard construction services curriculum. This is a full-time, temporary position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Provide construction office support, including taking meeting minutes and processing tracking logs.
- Attend and observe meetings with internal and external project teams.
- Observe material testing on-site.
- Assist with basic shop drawing reviews and verify that procedures and materials align with project plans and specifications.
- Perform research and collect data.
- Read construction drawings and provide feedback.
- Support special projects as directed.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary construction services program.
- Completion of at least 2 years of a post-secondary construction services program is preferred.
