About the role#
HNTB is hiring an Environmental Intern for our Summer 2027 program in Plano, Texas. This is a full-time, on-site role. We are looking for students who want to gain experience working on infrastructure and transportation projects. Please note that we do not provide housing or relocation assistance for this internship.
What you'll do#
- Assist project team members with day-to-day support tasks.
- Conduct basic research and gather data for ongoing projects.
- Maintain project files, records, and collections.
- Help create reports, presentation materials, and graphics.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program.
- A strong interest in transportation and infrastructure.
- We prefer candidates pursuing degrees in Environmental Engineering, Urban Planning, Public Health, History, or Political Science.

- Location: Plano, Texas (Granite Parkway).
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Status: Paid internship.
