About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work within the Digital Planning Department under close supervision to support projects involving graphic design, user experience, application design, and digital accessibility. Please note that relocation and housing assistance are not provided for this position.
What you'll do#
- Assist project team members with various support tasks.
- Conduct basic research and gather data.
- Maintain records, collections, and files for specific projects.
- Create graphics, presentation materials, and reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a related undergraduate or graduate program, with a focus on Graphic Design.
- Experience or interest in UI/UX.
- Experience or interest in digital accessibility.

- Location: Chicago, Illinois.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: The approximate pay range for this position in Illinois is $23.18 to $34.76 per hour, depending on your qualifications and experience.
