About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience supporting transportation infrastructure projects in San Jose. You will work under supervision to assist with construction services tasks, gaining exposure to project management and program management workflows.
What you'll do#
- Provide construction office support, including taking meeting minutes and processing tracking logs.
- Attend and observe meetings with internal and external project teams.
- Observe on-site material testing and assist with basic shop drawing reviews.
- Ensure procedures and materials comply with project plans and specifications.
- Conduct research, collect data, and provide feedback on construction drawings.
- Assist with special projects as directed.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary construction services program.
- Preferred: Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Construction Engineering.
- Preferred: Completion of at least two years of a post-secondary construction services program.
- Preferred: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred: Experience with Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or similar software.
- Preferred: Interest in infrastructure and transportation.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site position.
- Compensation: The pay range for this position is $26.34 to $39.50 per hour.
