About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site at our offices in Dallas, Fort Worth, or Plano. Interns support our teams across several areas, including construction, rail, transit, roadway, structures, bridges, traffic, and water resources.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineering teams with daily tasks and project duties.
- Help with the research, development, and design of various projects.
- Prepare engineering drawings and related documents.
- Perform basic engineering calculations.
- Organize project information for use in drawings and documents.
- Apply direction from supervisors and peers while learning shop drawing and submittal procedures.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- A basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
- We prefer candidates who have completed at least 2 years of their engineering program and are pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Water Management.
