    About the role#

    This Mechanical Engineering internship provides hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry. You will support our engineering team with technical tasks including calculations, design reviews, and lab testing. This is a full-time, paid position based in Houston for the summer of 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform pressure vessel calculations using ASME codes.
    • Create drawings, bills of materials, and conduct design reviews for specific tasks.
    • Coordinate with engineering labs to schedule and execute equipment tests.
    • Develop templates and run regression analysis to predict shear pressures.
    • Collaborate with the lab team to automate testing processes.
    • Handle other engineering duties as assigned.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Graduate degree program at an accredited university, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
    • A minimum GPA of 3.0.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools like Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
    • A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
    • The ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
    • Good interpersonal skills to support cross-functional collaboration.

    • Location: Houston, Texas.
    • Term: Summer 2027 (May 24 to August 13).
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Employment: Full-time.
    • Note: This position does not offer visa sponsorship. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
