About the role#
We are hiring a Quality Assurance Intern to join the team at Hitachi Vantara Manufacturing. You will report to a QA Manager and help connect and extract quality data from various sources. This role involves developing methods for process quality control and analyzing failure trends to improve product testing.
What you'll do#
- Develop analytical models for process quality control.
- Assist with technical studies for AI and HI applications in Quality Data Management.
- Work with Engineering to implement Mistake Proofing Methodology.
- Participate in Quality Investigation, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement.
- Analyze failure trends and field returns to improve testing.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with database design, optimization, and data analysis.
- Basic programming skills.
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control.
- Experience with Microsoft programming development environments and tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Norman, Oklahoma.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: At least 20 hours per week during school months and 40 hours per week during the summer.
- Compensation: $20 per hour.
