About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for the Summer 2027 term, running from May through August. You will work on-site at our facility in Nashville, Tennessee. As a Controls Engineering Intern, you will support our engineering teams while learning about the automation industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist and support Controls Engineers on project teams.
- Work alongside Applications, Controls, Mechanical, and Build teams.
- Support the design, build, programming, and deployment of custom automated equipment.
- Perform routine technical tasks.
- Learn and apply basic programming skills.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college program pursuing a degree in Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic proficiency in CAD and programming languages.
- Basic knowledge of electrical or pneumatic schematic drawing packages.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
