About the role#
Hill House Home is looking for a Product Development Intern for the Fall 2026 semester. This is a part-time, on-site role based in our New York office. You will gain exposure to the apparel lifecycle, from initial development through bulk production, while learning about sample management and internal workflows.
What you'll do#
- File and organize approved bulk submissions by season.
- Attend fittings to learn about garment fit, fabrics, and styling.
- Support development fittings by steaming samples, organizing fit racks, and capturing images for documentation.
- Maintain and update the sample tracker and manage sample distribution.
- Handle sample organization and shipments, including outbound tracking and packing.
- Assist with archive management by cataloging items by collection and season.
- Manage digital filing for invoices, packing lists, and inspection reports.
- Help the team with general product development and production tasks.
What you'll need#
- Interest in production, product development, women’s apparel, and e-commerce.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Drive) or Microsoft Excel.
- Comfort working with physical samples and operational processes.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management.

- Term: Fall 2026 (10-week program).
- Compensation: $20 per hour.
