About the role#
This internship provides students with the opportunity to gain experience in administrative positions within the supply chain department at Ingalls Shipbuilding. The program is designed to offer practical exposure to the industry and potentially lead to future full time employment.
What you'll do#
- Work a 40-hour work week for a minimum of 10 weeks during the summer.
- Participate in administrative tasks related to supply chain operations.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years of age before the start of the summer program.
- You must be enrolled in a degree program majoring in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
- You must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- You must attend an undergraduate or graduate program in the fall following the internship.
- You must upload your most recent college transcripts at the time of application.
- You must provide your school name, degree program, major, anticipated graduation date, current academic level, and overall GPA.
- You must successfully complete a criminal background investigation, a physical, and a hair follicle drug screen.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
