About the role#
The GMC Customer Advocacy & Engagement Intern supports programs and initiatives that amplify customer stories and showcase experiences. You will work with cross-functional teams to research, analyze, and coordinate projects that connect customer outcomes to company value.
What you'll do#
- Support customer reference activities and identify customer proof points.
- Assist with Boards of Advisors and executive engagement programs through research and planning.
- Contribute to strategic messaging and storytelling projects.
- Support the Executive Sponsor Program through coordination, reporting, and analysis.
- Assist with Customer Innovation Center and Demo Portal initiatives.
- Suggest process and tool improvements to increase efficiency.
- Participate in team meetings and periodic performance reviews.
- Capture insights and recommendations to improve advocacy programs.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related non-technical field.
- Strong communication, storytelling, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience conducting qualitative research.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage time effectively and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Professionalism, attention to detail, and a solution-focused mindset.
- Willingness to learn and apply emerging technologies and AI-enabled tools.

- Locations: San Jose, California or Houston, Texas.
- Modality: Hybrid (average of 2 days per week in the office).
