About the role#
As a Corporate Strategy & Transformation Intern, you will work on initiatives that influence the future direction of Hewlett Packard Enterprise. You will gain exposure to strategic decision-making and enterprise-wide transformation efforts while developing skills in analytics, strategy, and executive communication. This role provides an opportunity to experience how a global technology company defines long-term strategy, evaluates growth opportunities, and drives change.
What you'll do#
- Support strategic projects focused on growth, market opportunities, competitive positioning, and business performance.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, including market research, financial analysis, benchmarking, and data analytics.
- Assist in the development of executive presentations, business cases, and strategic recommendations.
- Support transformation initiatives that drive operational efficiency, organizational effectiveness, and business performance improvements.
- Collect, synthesize, and communicate insights from internal and external data sources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Business Units, Sales, and Operations.
- Develop an understanding of HPE's strategy, business model, technology markets, and transformation priorities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong academic performance.
- Interest in corporate strategy, management consulting, finance, technology, or business transformation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure information and develop recommendations from data.
- Basic understanding of strategy, business economics, and financial concepts.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for learning about technology, markets, and business strategy.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Spring, Texas.
- The position follows a hybrid work model, with a requirement to work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
