About the role#
As a Cloud Engineer Intern, you will work on mission-critical applications and build end-to-end technical solutions. You will collaborate with project managers and development partners to design, deploy, and monitor cloud-based services. This role focuses on breaking down complex data and engineering new methods for solving technical problems within our cloud services portfolio.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and implement cloud solutions tailored to specific business needs.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of cloud infrastructure, platforms, and services.
- Contribute to the optimization and automation of deployment processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of cloud systems to ensure reliability, performance, and security.
- Stay current with industry trends and cloud computing best practices to provide recommendations for improvement.
- Support ongoing cloud operations and provide technical assistance.
What you'll need#
- Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related IT field.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language such as C, C++, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and MVC design patterns.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and Linux/GNU environments.
- Exposure to full-stack software development and version control systems like Git.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is hybrid, with an average requirement of two days per week in an HPE office.
- Available locations include Spring, TX; Westford, MA; Ft. Collins, CO; Chippewa Falls, WI; Durham, NC; Sunnyvale, CA; Roseville, CA; San Jose, CA; Bloomington, MN; and Andover, MA.
