About the role#
As an ASIC Verification/Design Engineering Intern, you will join the HPE Aruba ASIC development team to work on next-generation products. You will complete a summer project that contributes to the development of current or future networking chips. You will work alongside senior members of the ASIC/VLSI team to learn and contribute to high-level development activities.
What you'll do#
- Perform RTL or physical design tasks.
- Conduct pre-silicon, post-silicon, and formal verification.
- Develop scripts and tools to support engineering workflows.
- Manage project schedules and generate technical documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to solve complex technical problems.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Completion of at least 3 years of engineering coursework, with a graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Experience with hardware design and Verilog.
- Proficiency in software programming languages such as C or C++.
- Experience using scripting languages like Python, PERL, or TCL.
- Familiarity with AI tools.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
