About the role#
As an ASIC Design Engineer Intern, you will work alongside our engineering teams to support technical projects. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in hardware and software systems while contributing to business objectives. You will work on-site in Sunnyvale, California.
What you'll do#
- Support senior team members on assigned technical projects.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, providing support and suggesting solutions.
- Assist with the maintenance and updates of hardware, software, and technical systems.
- Participate in team meetings, learn project methodologies, and collaborate with colleagues.
- Actively engage in learning about new technologies and methodologies.
- Fulfill assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Participate in periodic reviews to share updates and incorporate feedback on your work.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Interest in ASIC Design, including RTL coding or physical design implementation.
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge, such as RTL, Python, Java, or C++.
- Strong interest in high-tech and a passion for learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Time management skills and experience working with strict deadlines.
- A collaborative, solution-focused mindset and a sense of urgency.
