About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship opportunity based in Trumbull, Connecticut. The role is on-site and runs during the Winter and Summer of 2027. We do not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
What you'll do#
- Create and test laundry formulations in a laboratory setting using academic chemistry knowledge.
- Conduct experiments to develop and optimize new product formulas.
- Use laboratory instrumentation to measure physical properties and predict product performance.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data to assess formulation effectiveness.
- Translate scientific findings into actionable insights through clear presentations to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- You are a current junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, charts, and formula-based modeling.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks effectively in cross-functional environments.
- A team-oriented mindset with experience working in diverse, interdisciplinary groups.
- Analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and generate insights.

- Compensation: $22 to $27 per hour.
