About the role#
The Quality Engineering Intern supports our team in maintaining product quality and meeting customer requirements. You will work alongside Quality Engineers to assist with data analysis, documentation, and problem-solving. This internship provides hands-on experience with quality systems and manufacturing processes.
What you'll do#
- Support the quality team to ensure products meet customer requirements, industry standards, and company expectations.
- Review work instructions and maintain quality documentation.
- Participate in audits and support corrective action activities.
- Respond to customer quality inquiries and gather information for investigations.
- Track quality metrics and assist with documentation for customer concerns.
- Maintain quality plans and review customer specifications.
- Support training activities and ensure manufacturing processes follow established quality requirements.
- Collect and analyze data related to quality performance.
- Assist with non-conforming material investigations and identify trends.
- Participate in projects focused on improving product quality and reducing defects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited institution working toward a Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- A basic understanding of engineering principles.
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
- An eager, adaptable approach with initiative and leadership potential.
- No prior experience is required.
Location & details#
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full time, paid position.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM.
- Travel: 10-25% travel required.
- Locations: Menasha, WI; Appleton, WI; Opelika, AL; Olathe, KS; El Paso, TX; Pittsboro, IN.
