    About the role#

    WMUR, the ABC affiliate in Manchester, is hiring a Creative Services intern for Summer 2026. This team manages the branding and promotional development for the station. You will gain a practical understanding of how a television Creative Services department operates while working in a professional environment.

    What you'll do#

    • Draft copy for the station, the nightly newsmagazine show Chronicle, and other special news segments.
    • Observe live newscasts and editing sessions.
    • Learn to write and produce effective news topical promotion.
    • Assist with promotional and commercial shoots in the studio and on location.
    • Support the production of public service announcements to learn about the station's community involvement.
    • Explore how broadcast and digital marketing strategies function.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a degree program related to Communications, Media Studies, or Marketing.
    • An interest in applying writing and communication skills to television production.
    • A desire to learn the daily responsibilities of a Creative Services department.

    Location & details#

    • This is an on-site internship based in Manchester, New Hampshire.
    • The position is full-time and paid.
    • Sponsorship is not available for this role.
