About the role#
This is a five-week paid internship program designed to provide exposure to healthcare operations and professional work environments. You will work alongside team members and mentors to build foundational business and technical skills. The program includes an orientation, professional development workshops, and networking events.
What you'll do#
- Learn key processes, programs, and technologies while supporting departmental initiatives.
- Support day-to-day team activities, including research, data gathering, and light analysis under mentor guidance.
- Complete a defined summer project with structured milestones and regular feedback.
- Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, and other corporate policies.
- Participate in networking opportunities and volunteer activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with a graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029.
- Rising junior status with a major in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, computer science, or economics.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Strong analytical skills and an interest in a career in Actuarial Science.
- Practical technical skills, specifically with Excel and VBA.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with virtual collaboration tools.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and a collaborative, learning-oriented mindset.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Please note that sponsorship is not available for this role.
